NoCO2 is for a business wanting to become 100% carbon neutral, and LowCO2 is for businesses wanting to reduce certain parts of their climate change impact.

Carbon Neutral Business Certification

The Carbon Reduction Institute provides certification for businesses which have implemented a plan to become carbon neutral, or which are already carbon neutral. As the public becomes more aware of the need for immediate action against climate change, your carbon neutral business will gain competitive advantages within the low-carbon economy and benefit from being part of the solution.

After calculating, reducing and offsetting your carbon emissions, we certify your business either LowCO2 or NoCO2, depending on the level of carbon emissions reduction your business is able to achieve.

Certification Levels

	LowCO2 The LowCO2 certification program is designed for companies who wish to offset a percentage of their carbon emissions immediately with a plan to become carbon neutral over a period of time. The LowCO2 logo displays the percentage reduction so that consumers are aware of the carbon emission reductions initiated by the organisation. LowCO2 organisations sell low carbon or "Make It Carbon Neutral" products, which gives the consumer the option of making the product carbon neutral at the point of sale simply by paying a small additional offsetting fee.

	NoCO2 NoCO2 certification is the highest form of certification offered by the Carbon Reduction Institute. Organisations certified as NoCO2 are carbon neutral and have accounted for their total operational carbon emissions as well as the carbon emissions embodied in the products they sell and use. NoCO2 certified organisations offer their customers Carbon Neutral products. Displaying the Carbon Neutral logo informs the public that your product has had all its emissions offset prior to purchase.
