Terms and Conditions

1. In addition to your carbon credit purchase, you will be charged a credit card transaction fee of 1.5% and GST.
2. The credit card transaction fee and GST are not able to be allocated towards greenhouse gas reduction projects.
3. Your purchase, together with the credit card transaction fee and GST, will not be refunded under any circumstances
4. The quantity of greenhouse gas emissions attributed to your flight calculations are referenced to emissions factors developed by the World Resource Institute. These factors are multiplied by 2.7 to account for the amplified global warming impacts (radiative forcing) which are incurred when emissions are released at altitude.
5. The quantity of greenhouse gas emissions attributed to your electricity and gas usage is calculated with reference to the emissions factors provided by the Australian Government Factors and Methods Workbook.
6. The quantity of greenhouse gas emissions from your vehicle usage is calculated with reference to average fuel efficiencies for the different vehicle models/sizes listed. The emissions factors for the fuel types are taken from the Factors and Methods Workbook.
7. The carbon credits sold through this site are generated through incandescent light bulb replacement and inefficient showerhead replacement projects accredited through the New South Wales Government Greenhouse Gas Reduction Scheme.
8. You are not able to direct us to allocate the funds to any particular greenhouse gas reduction project.
9. Whilst we have taken reasonable care to ensure that the information provided by us on our website relating to carbon offsetting is correct, all information may be subject to change at any time without notice. We are not liable for any inconvenience or expense incurred by you, whether direct or indirect, due to your use of the information provided.
