Event Assessments

The carbon audit of an event measures all of the inputs and outputs associated with running that particular event. An event audit allows the event organiser to achieve carbon neutral status for the event. The audit approach is explained in the diagram below, showing the different elements of the event that are included in the calculation. These include venue energy, catering, suppliers, staff and guest travel.

Indicative Event Carbon Footprint

We tailor the event audit to your particular event and usually conduct a pre-audit to give you an indicative event footprint. With this information you can decide your action – such as committing to it being a carbon neutral event. We are then able to provide you with the carbon neutral event logo to communicate your action in the lead up to the event.

Event Carbon Assessment Report

After the event we conduct a ‘post-audit’, accurately capturing what happened on the day and provide you with a full carbon assessment report.
