Climate Change Certification

An Investment for the Planet and your Organisation

Brand reputations are grown and polished by companies that continually satisfy and exceed the expectations of their clients and internal stakeholders.  Climate change will be one of the issues that good brands will act on early to sustain these expectations.

Joining the NoCO2 certification program shows your clients, employees and suppliers that you are taking responsibility for the climate change emissions caused by your business.

Certifying your business is simple, following the steps below (Gavin’s Comment: the below steps should be shown diagrammatically)
  1. Calculate your carbon footprint. This will determine the impact that your company’s activities have towards climate change.

  2. Reduce and monitor your carbon footprint. The knowledge gained in the audit will help you achieve reductions to your carbon footprint through different measures. These include energy efficiency, material and supplier selections, staff education and more.

  3. Purchase carbon credits to offset emissions that cannot be avoided. For the emissions you cannot avoid, you can purchase carbon credits from international projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the atmosphere.

  4. Communicate your achievements. Display and market your certification by applying the logo. Inform companies of your greenhouse gas reduction achievements and the carbon credit projects. This is the most important stage in the certification journey as it engages and educates citizens and inspires them to find other ways to reduce their impacts

The program has the flexibility to accommodate any industry or size, as well as a desired emission reduction level; be it an aim to achieve a zero footprint or to achieve a goal to reduce emissions by a percentage.

The NoCO2 program is administered by the Carbon Reduction Institute, which provide the greenhouse gas audits, the certification agreements and the brokerage of carbon credits.
Climate change threatens the future of our planet and the actions we take now will define our generation. Be a part of the solution and certify your business.
